Support monthly Hofhuys celebration

You provide support before, during and after the celebration together with other volunteers. This is a monthly celebration to which usually only clients of small-scale homes are invited. The celebrations are prepared and conducted by the spiritual counselor of 't Hofhuys. Day and time: Every last Thursday of the month from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM A different Thursday afternoon is often chosen around Christmas and Easter. Tasks: • Setting up the space so that the celebration can take place • Picking up and returning clients to their home • Support with tasks during the celebration, such as handing out song sheets • If desired, you can read a text or say a prayer during the celebration • Make coffee and tea so that you can drink coffee together afterwards Skills / affinity / interests / requirements: • Good social and communication skills • Have a warm heart for the Catholic faith • Affinity with the target group • Treat clients, colleagues and visitors with respect What do we offer you? Do you like photography? And do you know your surroundings well? Then help us to record this environment and the changes in the environment for posterity. Consider taking photos of important buildings, nooks and crannies in the village, special trees, lampposts and so on. Our study circle is active for Eersel, Duizel and Steensel. The photo study group, part of the study circle, can also use supplementation. New members are therefore welcome. This vacancy is also suitable for students and young people. Pilgrims hostel is looking for hiking guides

Pelgrimsherberg Kafarnaüm Vessem

The Pilgrims Inn is located in Vessem. The working group Pilgrims for youth is active here. They walk with small groups (4) students from group 8 of the primary schools in the Kempen to Vessem. This is organized as a pilgrimage. If you like walking and contact with children of about 12 years old, then this project is for you. Please do not hesitate to contact the pilgrims' hostel for more information.

Volunteers personal attention/hiking

You will find residential care farm D'n Bolle Akker in a beautiful spot in Vessem. In three of these farms, Joris Zorg offers space to people with dementia. We are looking for a volunteer for several residents with dementia. A buddy, for some extra personal attention or to walk together. Especially during this time.
